Paphiopedilum Fanaticum is said to be a natural hybrid lady slipper orchid between malipoense and micranthum. It is favored by orchid collectors and hobbyists for the fancy bubble gum-like pouch or lip. Paph. malipoense is an endangered species, orginating from Southern China and Vietnam. Paph micranthum is an endangered species found in Southern China.
