On July 24, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino announced a new logo for this social network, replacing the familiar blue bird icon with a white "X" on a black background.
On her personal Twitter account, Ms Yaccarino posted a picture with a stylized X on a black background and wrote: "X here! Let's do this.”
In a post a day earlier, billionaire Elon Musk said he wanted to change Twitter's logo and polled his millions of followers if they were in favor of changing the site's color scheme from blue to black. The original Twitter logo was designed in 2012.
Since billionaire Musk bought Twitter in October 10, the company has changed the business name to X Corp, reflecting the businessman's vision to create a super app like China's WeChat.
Last April, Twitter temporarily changed the blue bird logo to the Shiba Inu dog - the symbol on the Dogecoin digital currency, helping the value of this coin increase sharply in the market.
Also since the new boss took over Twitter, the company has faced many ups and downs such as mass layoffs, the number of advertisers plummeted and Meta's Threads application appeared to compete with Twitter.
