RE-INTRODUCING:
Our most popular Phalaenopsis
clone - ever! (below)
M9550 Phal. Mistral’s Sunrise Flame
‘Mendenhall’. (photo above) This is a
repeat of a sell-out! The sunny, apricot
flowers are not like any other phalaenopsis
we have seen. The vigorous
plants have dark green leaves. Spikes
are upright and sturdy. Long-lasting.
M8039 Dtps. Newberry Parfait
‘Picotee’ AM/AOS, AM/RHS (photo
flowers all year, regardless of the season,
this is it. Popular throughout the
world, this has been produced by other
laboratories - with some mutations.
We guarantee that our mericlones
are true to the mother plant, our own
creation.
Consider Orchids as Gifts
Each year we ship hundreds of orchids as gifts (Birthday, Holiday, Anniversary). Our budded phalaenopsis
and cattleyas make excellent gifts, and we usually have several other genera in spike or bud.
Ask about our 'BLOOMING PLANT OF THE MONTH PLAN', also an excellent gift.
M9106 Phal. Newberry Perfection ‘Pink Giant’.
This exciting new clone is the largest pink
phalaenopsis we have seen. We could not believe
our eyes when it first flowered! The flowers are 5.5
inches in natural spread, and they have good form
and smooth color.. Be among the first to flower
this huge beauty. *L* (Winter-Spring)
species with almost black markings
and gorgeous, patterned leaves.
Don’t miss out on these! *L* (Winter)
2.5” pots, Blooming Size, $16.00.

Paphiopedilum sanderianum
We picture the 'Raven Cliff Falls' AM/AOS clone of this rare species, which has petals measuring 39 inches
(99 cm) long. We offer two sibling crosses, each in two sizes, at new, unbelievable prices.
2.5" pots are $25.00 3.5" pots are $50.00
8015 Paph. sanderianum 'Nature's Glory' x Paph. sanderianum 'Dark Beauty'. The 'Nature's Glory' parent
has long petals and the 'Dark Beauty' clone is the darkest we have seen. Most vigorous of our sanderianum
sibling crosses
8017 Paph. sanderianum 'Dark Beauty' x Paph. sanderianum 'Newberry Tresses'. Another combination for
dark flowers with long petals. The 'Newberry Tresses' clone is especially graceful, with petals that flare and have
lots of twists. Nice plants.
Culture: Paph. sanderianums are relatively easy to grow, though slow to establish when repotted. They prefer a
medium fir bark mix and relatively small containers. They will bloom and be happy in 3.5" to 4" pots. They
like brighter conditions than most paphiopedilums and somewhat more fertilizer. Once considered extinct in
nature, they are now heavily protected. The greatest danger to them appears to be forest fires in their native
Indonesia. Some poaching continues. Artificially grown seedlings help to protect the wild plants.
All of the plants offered above were grown from seed in our laboratory. Current CITES regulations do
not allow us to export Paphiopedilum sanderianum or any other paphiopedilum species.
7932 Paph. Oberhausens Diamant (photo
above is a first bloom seedling of this
cross). Bred from the rare Paphiopedilum
sanderianum onto the clear yellow Paphiopedilum
primulinum, this is a happy combination
of both. Long, twisting petals come
from the sanderianum and yellow color
comes from primulinum. These have great
vigor. *L* (Various)
that opens buds in sequence. *L*
8281 Paph. Clifton Booth (Paph.
Saint Swithin x Paph. primulinum).
A blend of peach, yellow,
and mahogany, with downswept,
spiraling petals. (Spring)
3.5” pots, $27.00.
6953 Paph. laevigatum x rothschildianum.
We have crossed the compact
laevigatum with the KING of the paphs,
rothschildianum. Large multifloras on
relatively compact plants. *L* (Spring)
3.5” pots, Near Blooming Size, $27.00.
7576 Paph. Pinocchio (photo above).
We have found this to be our most
popular paphiopedilum because of its
ever-blooming habit. Stems bloom
sequentially for a long time, and new
stems arise to continue the process.
This is also a vigorous plant and good for
beginners. *L* (Various)
3.5” pots, Blooming Size, $27.00.
