Xiaomi Redmi 8 now official

Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi 8 in India. It comes as the successor to the Redmi 7 released earlier this year.

The Redmi 8 sports a 6.22-inch dot notch display, with a 1520 x 720 HD+ resolution. Snapdragon 439 powers it up along with Adreno 505, and has two variants, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. On the rear sits a 12MP + 2MP dual setup, while upfront an 8MP camera resides in the notch. Other features include expandable storage up to 512GB, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual SIM, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and USB-C port.
