British singer-songwriter Yola to play first ’ACL’ taping of 2020

The year’s just beginning, but there’s already plenty of musical magnificence on the horizon. We already knew British singer-songwriter Yola, who stunned crowds at Austin City Limits Festival with what Peter Blackstock described as an “incendiary performance,” was coming to Austin.

Her “Walk Through Fire” tour, supporting her excellent 2019 album of the same name, hits the historic Scoot Inn on Feb. 8.

On Tuesday, “Austin City Limits” organizers announced that she will also be the first performer to tape an appearance on the storied television show’s 46th season. Her ’ACL’ taping is scheduled for Feb. 4.
