Dendrobium trigonopus

This little plant is deciduous. When I got it, the pseudobulbs were fat and leafless. Now they are just leafless. I hope it starts growing soon. The flowers have a nice, sweet fragrance.

The pseudobulbs are one to one and a half inches tall.

I agree. I'm wondering if it is trying to start a new keiki from the flower.

I've had keikis form below flower stem nods on a few occasions. Not rare but not common either.

I've had oncidium types make top keikis when I kept them too wet ( mostly trichopilias)
