I like to watch Nordic movies or tv shows , recently , after watched " Millennium " .
Then , I watch this tv show and Swedish one , Language are so similar .
Sometimes , I forget which I am watching during watching this one or Swedish one .
Or Norwegian's , " Vikings " so funny for me . Too comical .
But , Swedish and Danish are so similar , Norwegian is different a little , interesting .
Anyway , Rita , is she teacher ? Is teachers like Rita in the Danmark ?
Sure , fake story is , I know . Rita isn't bit@h , a little bit@h , every single women , a little bit@h , I think , I am woman , by the way .
Students , are Fewer , I know that Nordic countries's population are " Few " as economy is good .
Sweden or Norway or Finland and Danmark , Iceland .
Then , I thought " Too fewer … " .
Because , teachers can see their students very well they can , if , they want it .
Almost Nordic countries are nice " Welfare " system for their citizens so much .
It happened that Rita's student is pregnant as 15 years old younger student .
Christian or Muslim and Jewish have ideology that Be Reproduce , but , How will children be grown up ?
Foods never fallen from the Sky , never coming from the Sea , never be given from the Farms with " Automatic " .
Life is Beautiful ! WE KNOW !
But , How do the babies be grown up " No Food " ?
At France , French people teach to young students about " Reproduce " and protecting unfortunate pregnancy .
It's nice . Fantastic .
I am woman , I was forced to be pregnant by my ex husband Twice , honestly , it was unfortunate pregnancy , I was still young and stupid , but , women CAN'T be Pregnant without Guys ! Remember ?
Irresponsible Guys are Too Many ! I think .
Ridiculous .

Caught this on Netflix. I usually avoid foreign-language shows because I hate having to watch with subtitles. But I decided to give this a try. Love it! The actor who plays Rita is fantastic. And the character herself is compelling. The show is a comedy/drama (mostly on the drama side), but isn't too heavy. It's just a show about a middle-age schoolteacher/mother of three who loves her kids, but is kind of a kid herself, and struggles to deal with issues in her life, while loving being a school teacher, but having trouble with the adult relationships in her life.

First season was interesting and fun - it's good to see such an unconventional teacher. But with the the second season it really gained depth, as Rita copes with her past, it was moving and wise and very much worth watching.

we just finished the last episode of season 5 (the last).
Rita had me at hello. I will miss the series and have been recommending to anyone who is looking for a new cast of characters who will make you laugh and cry at the same time. I love everything about this show, theme song included. lots of reading danish subtitles but worth every word. every episode was my favorite. the cast is amazing. will be following their careers. Danish TV Rocks

Rita is a divorced mother of 3 children and a teacher. She is not a spy, her children are not fighting zombies and aliens, and the school is not the gate to hell. Rita is an ordinary human with ordinary problems, needs and joys just like everybody. And it is a great show because it can make the ordinary interesting
