Tara Brady Irish Times This is a canny film about the uncanny valley, punctuated by fears that don’t yet have specific names and phobias, including deep-fake horror scenarios and “that feeling when one’s phone shills for something you just thought about”. Rated: 3/5 Sep 7, 2023 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) Stirs up a hornet’s nest of paranoia about AI and deep fake technology, but then rather misses the point with a clunky cyborg stalker plot. Rated: 2/5 Aug 20, 2023 Full Review Anton Bitel Sight & Sound As unnervingly smart and sinister as its insurgent android, this cautionary tale tests our evolving, inverting relationship with our own tools. Aug 18, 2023 Full Review Drew Tinnin Dread Central A fun if slightly predictable thriller that updates the stalker boyfriend and transforms him into an overzealous, murderous android. Rated: 3.5 Feb 17, 2024 Full Review Terry Sherwood Film Threat T.I.M. is a satisfying look at the horrors of technology as it integrates with our everyday lives. Rated: 7/10 Jan 24, 2024 Full Review Josh Goller Spectrum Culture In an era when A.I. threatens the livelihoods of artists and other creatives, T.I.M. illustrates how the tendency toward derivative storytelling still remains a very human characteristic. Timothy E A great 🍿 movie. I love the movie because it lets you know that robots can have feelings too and they can override your authority. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Orlando by E Very entertaining! Don't listen to the critics on this one, this movie is pure escapism. TIM is the saltiest robot that ever lived. This movie is legendary -- Enjoy it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Joel P It's not as fun as M3GAN and missed some opportunities to really make us cringe in our seats. Ex Machina is the gold standard in the AI robot gone rouge genre. This movie fails to even come close to that standard. SPOILER: should the victim run to the safety of the nearby town from the killer robot or into the house that he controls? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Alan W I didn't think that such poorly made films were possible in this day and age. The positive reviews about this film are obviously fake (probably written by T.I.M). No discerning, intelligent person would ever praise this rubbish. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review V.A. H One of the most tedious, plotless, redundant movies ever. (had to shut it off halfway through) . Even with most terrible and dull movies, I can sit through the whole thing, but I could not endure another hour of this, after watching 40 minutes of non-stop silly robot offending the husband and becoming interested in the wife. No plot, much less a plot twist. I paid $6.99 plus tax to rent this on Amazon Prime, and I now believe that some of the 5 star audience reviews in August 2023 were made by questionable reviewers, as another reviewer suggested. This is the epitome of boredom and does not even rise to the quality of the worst Lifetime movie. If you're looking for a fun or interesting AI robot movie, such as MEGAN, this is NOT the film for you. In fact, I can't imagine anyone finding this bore to be bearable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Daniel N Similar to various other AI-themed movies that came out lately, this one too is timely and relevant, and with its slightly unusual angle it very much entertains.
