Wil
Wil is a personal assistant for paying taxes, where the user accesses the site and informs his registration data. Our system then collects the respective amounts and enables payment by credit card in up to 12 installments. This innovative model, where the service is provided directly to the taxpayer, does not require any hiring by the City Hall. The platform's purpose is to facilitate access for the population and bring a new form of payment, in addition to those currently available.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Strategized the product concept, roadmap, and implementation from the founder’s abstract idea to pay taxes using credit card, being responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle.
• Aligned the product roadmap with the stakeholders and business needs to accept payments for all the 5,500 cities in Brazil.
• Led the product development with cross-functional teams (UX/UI designs, tech lead, developers, marketing and customer experience).
• Trained and mentored the operation, finance, and customer experience teams for the daily operation of the back-office payments.
• Oversaw brand development, positioning, business strategy, and go-to-market plan.
• Launched the platform with 4 months of development.
Complete consultancy and services as a product manager to get an idea off the paper. Monitoring for brand development, positioning, and solution proposal, in addition to project specification and supervision of the product's technical development and training of the team to start the operation.
The operation was performed for 4 months. Definition of the project scope on September 12th, 2019, and the product went live on December 11th, 2019, where he performed the main functions:
- Business model definition and product specification
- Coordination of the operation and monitoring of product development
- Monitoring the process of creating branding and design of the platform
- Analysis of suppliers and business partners
Development of the platform with main features:
- Waiting list registration for cities not yet operating in Wil
- Registration of cities with IPTU payment already released
- Specific business rule for calculation of discount and operation, customized by city
- IPTU payment in up to 12 installments by credit card
- Payment with up to 4 credit cards (with different conditions)
- Institutional public website
- Internal system (dashboard and intranet) for Wil's team to monitor payments and manage financial flow
- Internal reporting tool for monitoring the business and operation
- Black and white list of payment slip recipients
