Does the slide holder work with Gepe 24x36 plastic slide mounts? Does it work with thinner 24x36 cardboard mounts that slides are sometimes returned in?
my impression is that this product will NOT work with the gepe slide mounts. with the gepe slide mounts, the slide sits in a cartridge - so the gepe makes the film larger - the mount that you were looking at holds the original slides in the standard format. when someone ordered the development of film in a slide format - they would be returned cardboard mounts - these are the same mounts that canon is expecting users to be using with the slide holder.

Does this part fit an 8600F CanoScan? If not, do you have one for the 8600F?
no, the 8600f holder is totally different that was discontinued some time ago. we have run through our stock in the 8600f holders.
