This fantastic polychilos clone is a combination of many species including: violacea, venosa, bellina, mariae, amboinensis, lueddemaniana and micholitzii. The inch and a half flowers have excellent substance and color. These typically flower in the summer months starting in late July or August and flower sequentially over the entire summer and into as late as November. There is a very slight fragrance that is sweet with a hint of nutmeg. The fragrance can take a few days to develop and may intensify at certain times of day depending on light and temperature. Don't cut the flower spikes off unless they turn totally yellow or tan. The spikes can continue flowering year after year. In winter the spikes may not produce flowers due to shorter daylength but will start flowering once longer daylengths resume.
