A mini bean leaf that stays very compact with a mature leaf span of about 1.5". Similar in size and stature to 'Kuro Shinjyu', but less often seen. Beni Shinjyu translates to 'Red Pearl', however the flowers are white. The red is directed towards the axis which has a bit of red pigment. Like many mini bean leaf types, these are not known to flower until they reach multi growth plants. Generally in our experience 7 to 10 growth plants will bloom each season, while anything smaller is quite unpredictable but most likely not going to bloom. Who really needs flowers when the plant is this cute anyways?
