Despite having a few hiccups on Made in Chelsea, Maeva D'Ascanio has insisted she and boyfriend James Taylor are stronger than ever and even hinted that the pair could be getting engaged soon.

The brunette beauty, who previously opened up about her parents having Coronavirus, said the pair have been speaking about getting married and hopes it will happen soon.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, the 28 year old explained: "We're talking about it at the moment.

"He keeps saying to me, 'I will propose to you when you turn 30,' and I'm 29 soon so I really can't wait.

"Apparently he told many people that he knows where he's gonna propose, but other than that I have no clue," she divulged.

"We're also thinking about buying a house next year, so I think it will happen pretty soon but when? God, I don't know, but I can't wait now."

The couple have been dating since 2019, as viewers watched their romance come alive in the 18th series of Made in Chelsea.

The straight-talking star admitted that she would prefer to get marrried in England, as opposed to her native France.

She expressed: "I really do think I want to get married in England. I love England so much, even for my wedding - I think I'd like to do it here."

The pair's relationship is going from strength to strength, with Maeva telling OK! Online that both of their families approve of the partnership.

"His family are really great, we've been raised the same way and our families have thev same principles," Maeva shared.

"They're really, really similar despite the fact they are from different cultures, with his family being English and mine being French.

"His family reminds me a lot of my family and vice versa, so it's great - my family love James and his family, I think they love me as well, well I hope so anyway," she joked.

There are many couplings currently on the E4 series but Maeva believes she and James are the strongest after living with and witnessing the drama between the other cast.

The television personality added: "All of the couples were completely going crazy with each other, and from an outside point of view, James and I were like, 'Oh god, we are actually really good'."
