Horrified '90 Day Fiancé' Fans Want Angela Fired as TLC Airs Shocking Scene

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans have called for Angela Deem to be removed from the TLC show after scenes from the October 9 episode showed her destroying her husband Michael Ilesanmi's car.

The show, which returned to TLC for Season 7 in August 2022, is the companion series to 90 Day Fiancé and follows the lives of several couples from the original show to see how their relationship has worked out.

One of the couples featuring on the 2022 installment is Angela, 56, and Michael, 34, who have been seen struggling with visa issues this season which have meant Michael has had to stay in his family home in Nigeria.

The long distance has caused tension between the married couple, as has the fact that Michael has reactivated his social media accounts, and even gone so far as to block Angela, causing her to wonder for the first time whether her husband is scamming her.

During the October 9 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, fans watched as Angela, who lives in the United States, arrived unannounced at Michael's home in Nigeria.

He refused to answer the door to her and she responded by damaging his car to try to get his attention.

After realising what she had done, Michael came out of the house and the couple began to argue. Angela then took things further and and pushed Michael against a wall.

Michael ordered Angela out of his house and a producer on the series stepped in and escorted Angela away.

Taking to Reddit after the upsetting scenes aired, fans called for Angela to be removed from the cast of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?.

As well as referencing the scenes from the latest episode fans brought up previous incidents of what they describe as "domestic violence," including Angela throwing a cake at Michael and calling him "vile" words.

In a thread that was tagged as a "Serious Discussion," Reddit user bill_hilly wrote: "It's pretty disgusting that TLC is willing to air actual domestic violence to get views."

They continued: "Angela has abused Michael physically and mentally countless times on the show. Cake in the face, destroying his car, belittling him in front of friends and family, economic abuse, etc. All on camera. There's no telling how often Michael gets abused by Angela off camera, or how many DV instances were left on the editing room floor.

"Yet they continue paying Angela to be on the show. Pretty gross. I hope she gets booted from the show and loses all of her sponsors."

The poster added that TLC could make a show about Michael "trying to get to America solo," saying: "People would still watch it because they like him."

BrunetteBunny28 wrote underneath the original post: "The way Angela calls Michael 'motherf***er' and 'b***h' when speaking to him and about him is so vile. She doesn't see him as a person. She sees him as property. Constantly dangling the visa and money to control him is disgusting."

Fun-Nefariousness724 posted: "If the situation had been reversed, I imagine TLC would have stopped filming immediately."

Glum_Ad7658 added: "I agree, watching this was very triggering, she reminds me of the bullies in school that want to fight and will not let up until they get someone to engage. She's disgusting, I don't understand why they continue her story, if it were a man he would be kicked off the show after the first incident."
