That’s adenium or desert rose.🌵 For all those who are new to this plant, let me tell you that it is a succulent that has stolen my mom’s heart away! She is just madly and deeply in love💕 with this cute-looking bonsai. She was never a gardener. This change took years to happen but when you fall in love with something, you strive to be better at it each day. Her journey from a non-gardener to a full-time gardener (who now sells her saplings to the nurseries ) is akin to my content writing journey. Let me share some surprising similarities: 🔵 Starting from Seeds 🌱 : In gardening, it all begins with a seed; similarly, content writing starts with a spark of an idea. Both processes involve nurturing these initial elements into something meaningful and beautiful. 🔵 Nurturing With Care 🌿 : Just as my mom nurtures her plants with great care, as a content writer, always strive to craft your words with creativity and precision. Both activities require patience and attention to detail to ensure optimal growth. 🔵 Planning and Layout 🗺: Thoughtful planning and layout are a must for optimal growth and aesthetics of any garden, big or small. The same holds true for content writers. You need to outline your ideas to structure articles or pieces, ensuring a cohesive flow of information. 🔵 Deweeding ✂ : Just as gardeners remove weeds to allow plants to flourish, content writers edit and refine their work, eliminating unnecessary words or errors to enhance readability and impact. 🔵 Continuous Learning 📚 : My mother had to experiment a lot with different plants and techniques to reach this level of expertise. Therefore, as a content writer never shy off from exploring various styles and genres to refine your craft. 🔵 Continuous Growth📈 : Gardens evolve with time, with plants growing and changing with the seasons. Likewise, content writers should aim to continuously grow and evolve their skills, adapting to new trends and technologies. Be it #gardening or #contentwriting, both involve creativity and dedication. But what you achieve in return is simply exquisite: the joy of creating something beautiful and impactful. I wish for all my fellow #contentwriters that your content may inspire, educate, and entertain your readers! #drfebfacts #healthwriter

It's a fine state we've gotten ourselves into. I'm now receiving far more releases and announcements that get commas wrong than right. If you are unsure, please read this. And just because you are sure doesn't mean you are right. #grammar #punctuation #writingtips #writing https://lnkd.in/gWhwtjJx

🌱 Exciting News! 🌱 For the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of diving deep into the world of plants, landscaping, lawn care, and gardening. It has been an incredible journey, and today I wanted to share some highlights with all of you. Reflecting on my own writing journey, it's fascinating how life can take unexpected turns. I started college with dreams of becoming a teacher, then ventured into nursing, only to return to my initial passion for teaching. However, I couldn't ignore the persistent itch to write, a passion that had lingered since my college journalism days. I decided to leap and started writing clips for local newspapers, eventually progressing to trade magazines and B2B blogging. As I became more involved with Garden Communicators International, my desire to explore consumer garden topics grew stronger. Today, I'm excited to share some of my consumer magazine clips on gardening, lawn care, and landscaping: FamilyHandyman.com: "How Often Can I Apply Sulfur to My Lawn?" FamilyHandyman.com: "5 Best Mulches for Vegetable Gardens." HomeGardenandHomestead.com: "Why We Kiss Under the Mistletoe—and Other Mistletoe Facts." HomeGardenandHomestead.com: "When to Divide Hostas and Other Perennials." I take immense pride in providing valuable insights and information to fellow gardening enthusiasts through these publications. The joy of seeing my words resonate with readers is truly fulfilling. As I continue my journey, I'm pursuing a Pennsylvania horticulture certificate in the next few months. This step will enhance my knowledge and allow me to delve even deeper into the world of plants and gardening. #writing #journalism #b2b #publications #blogging

Last week, I got asked my new favorite interview question: "What's something new you've learned in the last 48 hours, professional or personal?" I thought for a quick moment, then shared about a gardening issue I experienced and how I solved it with at-home remedies. (If you didn't know, I'm an avid gardener and have been growing my spring/summer seedlings for the last few months.) Why do I love this question? It reminds us that we're always learning new things—intentionally or not—and it shows prospective employers how we think through problems and implement solutions. And what we're interested in outside of work. And how proactive we are. Among other things. So, tell me: what's something new you've learned in the last 48 hours?
