Buying a digicam ✨

🛒Product Item: Konica Minolta Dimage X31 (2004)

💰 Price: $149

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐: 4/5

As I stumbled upon a shop called “Resurrack” a vintage clothing shop situated at Peace Centre , there was a lineup of different cameras displayed on their shelves that were specially curated from Japan 🇯🇵 by various vendors

Among them were very well-established brands like Fujifilm , Canon , Sony , Nikon etc. But what drew me to this digicam was actually how compact it was that it was able to fit in my pocket pouch and the unique design of the small LCD screen which evokes a sense of nostalgia.

I brought my own Apple lighting to SD card reader which the images can be transferred seamlessly. Although the shops did provide a SD card reader it did not work for my iPhone as they said it was a different brand from Apple.

To my surprise, I was delighted to see how the photos had turned out (scroll to see sample pics) and that was the last deciding factor for me to make this purchase.

This camera was released in 2004 , I do not expect it to be a powerhouse or something that can function at its fullest potential. That being said , it is important to always test it out , ask about their return/refund policy and also the warranty. (Mine has 7 days warranty but it differs for different products) and lastly make sure you LIKE IT.

Cons 🤔:

Battery life (uses a double A battery ) seem to be depleting faster than expected

Small LCD screen might not be suitable for some people
