Cattleya violacea var. semi alba flamea 'Divina’ x var. alba 'Francisco'

Cattleya violacea is a species of orchid native to the lowland rainforests of the Amazon and Orinoco river basins, being the most widespread of all Cattleya species in the wild. Orchids of this species grow on trees along rivers, as they require heat and moisture year round.

This is the semi alba flamea variant of Cattleya violacea which is native to Colombia, Venezuela, the Guianas, Amazonas state of Brazil, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. 

Grow in medium light in a well-drained mix. quality cross of this South American species using superior tetraploid parents. White 4" flat flowers with varying degrees of magenta flares and a darker lip with good substance. Will get a few semi albas with no flaring. Usually gets 3 to 6 flowers on a strong inflorescence.
