MP Ndindi Nyoro assures farmers of cheaper farm inputs

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro says the government has enhanced budgetary allocation for farm inputs to boost food production.

Speaking after attending a church Service at AIC Church Annex in Eldoret, the MP said the government has allocated Ksh6 billion for Coffees Cherry Fund which will guarantee farmers maximum amount.

“As government we want to help farmers to earn from their sweat,” said Nyoro.

The Kiharu legislator further indicated that Ksh26 billion has been set aside to employ 26,000 teachers on permanent and pensionable terms.

Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago urged Kenyans to supper the new health scheme saying it will be of benefit to Kenyans

“I want to urge Kenyans to allow the government to take the 2.75 percent of their money for the scheme , this will ensure access to quality affordable health care and critical health care,” said senator Mandago

Consequently, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi warned officials from the National Cereals Board against bribery claims saying stern actions will be taken against them.

“I have information that there are some NCPB officials who want money for them to give farmers fertilizers .We will not allow that to happen,” he stated.
