In their first post since participating in Black Out Tuesday, Incubus is praising the "true heroes" who have been helping fight against COVID-19 and racial injustice. The band thanked those on the frontlines in a thoughtful Instagram post.

"We commit to listen, learn, and take action," they wrote. "In this time of uncertainty, we’ve seen the emergence of true heroes. From medical professionals, essential workers and volunteers combating COVID-19, to the millions of people across the country fighting for racial justice. We are immensely grateful for your sacrifice and dedication. We encourage you to use your voice, your vote, your donations, and whatever means are accessible to you."

Incubus isn't the only band to address the country's pandemics recently. After George Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis police officer on May 25, many members of the rock community have spoken out against racism, and have taken their platforms a step further by participating in protests and donating money to organizations associated with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie recently announced he would be redirecting his Highest Hopes Foundation funds to anti-racist organizations, Walk The Moon matched donations to Black Visions Collective, Paramore donated $25,000 to three BLM organizations, Young The Giant has been raffling off prizes to raise money for BLM, and Fall Out Boy pledged to donate $100,000 to various groups over the next few months.
