Slc. blooms after 2 years!

Slc. Tutankamen "POP" SM/96 JOG, Slc. Mae Hawkins "Mlya" x C. Chocolate drop

The flowers are fading, but I got a digital camera for Christmas and this is my first try. Petals and sepals are waxy and the lip has a velvety texture. Faint fragrance of cinnamon.

Gorgeous! I have some 300 orchids and this is my favorite one. Mine will bloom this year with 6 spikes, it's about a month away from putting on a show.~Charm

Congrats! One of my favorites! At a show I attended a couple years back, Oakhill came with about 2 dozen in bloom. People were snatching them up before Greg could even get them unloaded. LOL

I'd love to own one but they require too much vertical space for what I have available.

Absolutely worth the wait. I love everything about this plant. The flowers have great color and shape and balance. Plant is beautifully groomed. Great leaves.
