This is my new favorite Ang. If you ever get an opportunity to smell a Jumellea, please do not squander it. They come from central Madagascar at 1400m in mossy forests.
This last pic is Jumellea comorensis next to the J. arborescens to demonstrate how different they are and how sublime Angs are in general.
Very interesting plants. I would like more but they are hard to come by here. My Ang. sequipedale is NEARLY out. Stay tuned! This was the first tropical orchid I ever saw. I could hardly believe it was real and it started a life addiction!
