The soon-to-be released Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions features a bevy of characters from the Rocky and Creed film franchises, as well as some fictional characters.
Survios and MGM have granted me exclusive access to two character previews. On Monday, we posted exclusive gameplay of the iconic Clubber Lang.
Today, we have Apollo Creed nemesis Ivan Drago. As you’ll see in the video, there is a bit of text dialog designed to push the story. Each character has a storyline to follow that seems at least loosely based on their background from the movies.
Take a look, Dolph Lundgren’s memorable line: “if he dies, he dies,” is in the game.
You notice the size differences between the characters and the obvious homage the title pays to the memorable Ready to Rumble series that dates back to 1999 on the Sega Dreamcast.
While I’m still in the process of evaluating the game, the main picture (good and bad) is coming into focus. The scored review should be available on Wednesday which is 2 days before the game becomes available on September 3 for the Switch, Xbox 1, PC and PlayStation 4.
