Following Goku and Sin, it looks like Order-Sol is the next cool character being modded into Guilty Gear Strive

His moveset is already being worked on

Guilty Gear Strive's modding scene has kinda started blowing up rather recently with new characters being added into the game, and a lot of the work thus far is coming from 1 person.

WistfulHopes is apparently right back at it again after getting Sin Kiske and Dragon Ball FighterZ's Super Saiyan Goku modded into Strive, but this time she's going further back in time to the cool guy Order-Sol.

Although Order-Sol is just a younger version of Sol Badguy from his crusading days, his special abilities are largely different with a unique charge mechanic that made him something of a fan favorite in the pre-Xrd days — plus that design is still just slick as hell.

Unlike the previous mods that are available now, Order-Sol is not quite ready yet for the limelight just yet, but WistfulHopes appears to be making quick progress despite being possibly more work.

Just a day after she first showed the new mod moving around the screen, WistfulHopes just uploaded footage of the fighter in action, which answers the big question of if he was just going to be a reskin of the regular Sol or their own unique character.

Judging by the short bit of gameplay shown now, it appears the modder is taking the more difficult route of giving Order-Sol his own moveset with his big overhead slash back.

One of the nice benefits of these character mods over other games like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's is the added Strive characters use their own fighter slots, meaning they don't replace any existing character and can be used online against other players who also have the mod installed.

We'll update you all once Order-Sol becomes available to download for yourself, and you can also follow WistfulHopes on Twitter for more progress and likely more Guilty Gear mods to come.
