Buying the clock pre-painted was definitely a great idea, unless you're looking for a nice paint project. The sides of the clock are textured and look like stone, I love the quality of the body of the clocktower. The clock face has some left to be desired, mostly because mine still had a little bit of pointy and stray filament from the printing on it, but it's nothing too crazy. Compared to the body of the tower, it looked a bit out of place and unfinished, until I cleaned it up. It was also very difficult to put the battery into the back of the clock, and it does make an obnoxious humming sound, but it works and it looks great! I might replace the clock mechanism with something quieter in the future.
