Handles very nicely, shoots gorgeous pictures. My opinion may change with time...but right now, this is a LOT of camera for less than the price of a cheap point and shoot. I am enjoying it. Buy it knowing it’s age and limitations, and for most street shooting, you will be very happy. Unless you’re a pro, or shooting for a magazine or posters, you will appreciate the relatively (and sometimes downright) cheap prices for some pretty sweet glass as well.

Excellent value. Solid well built camera. Older than most but dependable and good features. No disappointment.

Being a fan of Olympus cameras I wanted to update my older e-300. shame they removed the articulated viewfinder, that was handy but in all a good camera

I had the Evolt 300 and loved that camera. This camera was an upgrade and I love the small things they have done to make thw camera more user- friendly. I am a high school art teacher and use this camera to photograph my Advanced Placement art students' portfolios. The picture quality is excellent and the camera is so easy to use.
This camera is a good upgrade from the E-500. I have both and the image stabilization is my main reason for the upgrade. I keep them together in my camera bag and use them interchangeably. The 510 feels better in hand with a well-designed thumb rest so I don’t hit the AF button like I do on the 500. It’s worth the money to upgrade, but keep your 500 if you have one.
