Great camera , lots of features.
Does not look abused in any way. Everything functions as it should except the battery door. A small piece of black plastic has broken off the interior body of the camera and the battery door does not latch securely. I see a risk of the batteries falling out !

Great Camera for All occasions
Despite what "certain electronic" retails store workers told me about the brand Fuji as I tried to purchase a camera from them, this Fuji Finepix S5100 is better then I expected. It has great features that Professionals and Beginners alike can use with easy acess. One of the key things to look at would be the quick shutter speed that this machine is capable of and the digital options that are available in the menu settings. I give credit where credit is due to this fuji and so will you. Why pay almost $300 more for another camera when this one is up to parr with the competition. Fuji has outdone themselves and this is the result, a high sufisticated camera with many functions and versitility for much less. Not satisfied with the angle range?,you can always update and purchase the ... Dont take my word for it buy a Fuji Finepix S5100 and see for yourself. |Key notes to consider before you purchase: 1. Its unexpensive and has alot to offer 2. Its smaller and more compact than most cameras of this caliber 3. Lens are unexpensive and available everywhere and online.

Great Digital Camera
I have purchased 3 of these because they are easy to use and great for someone just getting started. I bought one for my granddaughter for her High School digital photography class. This camera also takes nice video clips. The camera is overall a nice step into digital photography, however, it is now becoming outdated. Though these shipped with a 16mb xD Card they can use the 1G xD Card. Thats a lot of photos. The xD cards are increasingly harder to find. Wal-Mart quit carrying them. After owning this for several years the batteries don't last as long. It is easy to download the photos to any USB capable cpu. I have taken about 20,000 photos on my original Fuji so it was time for a less used one to replace it. I am very pleased with this model~I have purchased 3 of these because they are easy to use and great for someone just getting started. Likes: I bought a used S5100 and have been very happy with the overall function. It has simple to use controls, good zoom - 10x optical, with a built in flash unit and uses 4 - AA batteries. Video works great, it takes the XD card it can use the 1G or 2G xD Card. Thats a lot of photos. The xD cards are small and easy to store and carry. Great little camera. I like the camera for it`s overall features.Likes: I bought a used S5100 and have been very happy with the overall function.
