Great Digital Back Up Camera, For keeping in Car use
Canon puts out good affordable model's digital quality cameras.My first camera, was this Canon PowerShot A70, and it lasted 6 overused years, with 20,000 or more photo's use and wear/tear on the features, and it endured. It has showed me durability and nice quality photos, with all the zoom features and different settings. I was able to purchase, this same A70 camera, after my first one was upgraded, by Canon, in 2009 October.I use my modern upgrade for eBay work and other business's, and keep my trusting A70 for backup, in my vehicle, for that ready and needed photo.You should always have a camera with you at all times... The prices now are very affordable, for the older Canon digitals, so for a small investment, you can get a classic quality camera. If more eBayer's made this small ... exceptional handheld Camera
awhile back I was at our local Goodwill Store found a nice camera did not have the batteries to test it so I bought it for $4 bucks it was a Canon powershot left the store went to another store to purchase batteries it takes 4 AA's gone to another store to buy a memory card it took CF memory card these are the big cards when digital camera first came out with, So after all that running around got home put all together to start taking pictures it did not work ! meaning- something was wrong with the camera the LCD screen had lines in it and when took a picture it was smudged distorted could not see what the picture was of SO I login online to do research found that one problem with these cameras is the LCD's and the CCD do have malfunctions so instead of getting the part it was cheaper to ... awhile back I was at our local Goodwill Store found a nice camera did not have the batteries to test it so I bought it for $4 bucks it was a Canon powershot left the store went to another store to purchase batteries it takes 4 AA's gone to another store to buy a memory card it took CF memory card these are the big cards when digital camera first came out with, So after all that running around got home put all together to start taking pictures it did not work ! meaning- something was wrong with the camera the LCD screen had lines in it and when took a picture it was smudged distorted could not see what the picture was of SO I login online to do research found that one problem with these cameras is the LCD's and the CCD do have malfunctions so instead of getting the part it was cheaper to buy another camera and use the $4 buck camera as parts for the new one if needed, I bought off Ebay it should arrive any day now. The repair of the Canon's CCD is quite easy if you know what your doing must wear rubber gloves as they do keep charged even after taking battery out of its compartment the gloves prevent shock., you would have to use small tools for the screws phillips style screws are used and a solderer to wailed any wires needed. Then put it back together carefully, note: remember where things goes or you will mess up the camera beyond repair, Now for the features on this camera are pretty simple point and shoot kind of camera you can add stuff to this camera such as lens cause on the camera's lens area you can screw off the cover to add another lens with more powerful focus such as a telephoto lens filters etc.. Be creative,, Also This Camera is great First camera for young child/teen who wants to become a pro photographer Other idea is this buy several memory cards small sizes when full mark them what is on them then use another this way you can expand on downloading different files to photo sections so you will not have to lose any memories keep one as a back up i.e shot a photo then download onto computer and then add it to another card its just an idea memory cards are not that expensive if you get the ones that are under 1 GB some bargains on ebay for CF card I got 2 for $10 each free shipping you just have to look... Movie feature now if your planning on making movies the bigger MB on cards are better then running out of space after such project download it on your PC then make a DVD out of the movie then clear out the CF Card for future use that is another idea So there is so many possibilities to use with this Camera its worth I would say about $50 good used Canon Camera powershot you just have to search the ebay for bargains so good luck with your new camera....

Nice camera if it has been refurbished as the sensor develops problems after a few years. Reasonably small, batteries last for hundreds of pictures, good picture quality, lots of features, very cheap on e-bay, has a view-finder (hard to find a camera with one now).

Although an older model, the Canon still does the job.
I only tested it. It was purchased for an underwater housing. We previously owned this camera and it functioned well for it's design. This Canon is extremely easy to use with the only drawback being it's dated card memory.

EXCUESE ME BUT TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. I BOUGHT THE CANON DIGITAL CAMERA FOR MY DAUGHTER SHE PICKED IT AND I GOT AND PAID FOR IT. I READ THE DESCRIPTION TWICE AND EVEN WROTE AND ASKED IF THEIR WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. I WAS TOLD THAT THE FLASH WORKS SOME TIME AND SOMETIMES IT DIDN'T. NO PROBLEM.. WE RECIEVED THE CAMERA IN THREE DAYS, VERY GOOD.. DID NOT CHECK CAMERA OUT WHEN I RECIEVED IT BECAUSE I GOT IT FOR MY DAUGHTER 25 BIRTHDAY SO SHE COULD TAKE HER OWN PICTURES. WAS I EVER SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THE CAMERA DIDN'T WORK, THEIR IS NO IMAGE, THE BUTTON TO TAKE THE PICTURES DON'T EVEN WORK. THE CAMERA ITSELF LOOKS GOOD IT JUST DOES NOT WORK.
