Item was listed as open box. I don’t feel that the item was “thoroughly inspected and tested before being resold at a reduced price”. Unit arrived with a message on the recorder implying a used condition without imparting complete knowledge of history. Two week experience confirm that the batteries are less than desirable for holding its charge. My conclusion is that the unit was not thoroughly inspected and tested before listing. Is it used or open box? RK

    Good value for the money and just what I wanted.

    I would recommend this to some friends, not to others: My old DiMAGE Z-3 went bad on me and I didn't know how I would live without it! Then I found this seller and was able to get the camera that I was already familiar with, and for far less than they sold for new. This one works just like a new one so yes, I am very pleased with the purchase. The reason I would recommend this to some friends, but not to others, is that this model, as I understand it, is getting hard to find: A downside might be the availability of repair services. I expect this will last a long time if I treat it right. Reportedly, the lens can hang up and that can be difficult to repair. (My old DiMAGE did that after being dropped.) Did I mention that this purchace came with a camera case? My old one would probably ...

    Great Camera

    I do a lot of zoom photography and the combination of both digital and optical zoom is great for those long shots of wild life that I often get. The quick ability to turn on the digital zoom has saved many shots that would have "gotten away" had I used other cameras. I am very happy to recommend this camera to anyone wanting a reasonably priced camera for the long shots.

    Great picture and easy to use.

    Camera takes great pictures when the object is holding fairly still but blurs easily when taking action pictures.

    Konica diamage camera

    This camera has EXCELLENT photo quality!! One of the best I have ever had. The only thing that I DONT like is the tiny viewing screen on the back of the camera. I bought it because I had gotten a terrific deal on it and wanted to try it out.
