Retired Miss Russia jailed AGAIN after 'rehab slap-fight that stemmed from reading a fellow patient's diary'

A former Miss Russia has been thrown back in a New York City jail after getting tossed from court-ordered rehabilitation in a drug case.

Anna Malova, 39, was tossed out of her drug rehab program in the Bronx Sunday after she read two pages of a fellow inmate’s diary and allegedly got in a slap-fight with her.

She also was reportedly sneaking to the refrigerator for snacks.

Molova, who was a doctor in her homeland, is being held without bail at least until her court date next week.

According to the New York Post, Molova may have lost her opportunity to stay in the country with a no-jail, no-record, no-deportation deal with the latest altercation.

Malova has been charged with repeatedly forging prescriptions to get painkillers Vicodin and Klonipin.

She’d been on track to get the charges dismissed if she successfully completed drug treatment.

Now, it’s up to a judge to determine whether or not she has failed at rehab. If so, the former beauty queen could go to trial.

Her attorney Robert Gottlieb said prosecutors are being too hard on the Miss Universe finalist. ‘Drug treatment has its ups and downs,’ he told Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Marc Whiten.

He asked that Malova not be ‘put in a cage.’

Judge Whiten acknowledged Mr Gottlieb’s imploring argument, but said punishment comes with the ‘downs’ of rehab – including jail time.

The judge said jail will be a time for Malova to ‘refocus on her infractions.’

She was taken to jail wearing matching snakeskin heels and bag, and wearing a tan-coloured suit.

Malova was named Miss Russia and finished in the top ten in the Miss Universe pageant in 1998.

The former beauty queen was once romantically linked to hedge-fund billionaire George Soros, as well as Gary Shandling.

She’s set to appear in court again Tuesday.
