So what do bikini models REALLY eat? Instagram star Sjana Earp shares her 'day on a plate'… and with curry for lunch and tacos for dinner, it's not what you expected

Sjana Earp has built a social media empire from her passion for health and wellness, as well as her sunkissed snaps in skimpy bikinis.

But thanks to her enviably slim and toned physique, one of the most common questions left on her social media and blog posts is about her diet. 

The 21-year-old has given fans an insight into what she eats on a typical day in a new series of videos.

Miss Earp, who in addition to her popular Instagram account runs the food page Nourish Not Punish, said on her blog she hopes to inspire others to make healthier choices.

'I don't want people seeing this video and thinking that they should eat this too, or that if they eat what I eat, then they will look like me,' she said.

'I want people to understand that our bodies are all very different and wonderfully unique.

'I'm simply showing you what I ate in one day, and maybe it will inspire you to make healthier choices of your own.'

SJANA EARP'S DAY ON A PLATE 

DAY ONE:

Breakfast: Smoothie bowl with chopped fruit

Lunch: Coconut and Dhal curry with rice

Snack: Raw bar and soy chai latte

Dinner: Sweet potato and vegetables

DAY TWO: 

Breakfast: Peppermint tea and Chia seed oats with almond milk

Lunch: Red cabbage with avocado and falafel

Dinner: Bean and vegetable tacos with guacamole

Miss Earp, who has 1.2 million followers on her Instagram account and lives on an island off Australia, shared her day on a plate over two YouTube videos.

On day one she kick-started her morning with a raspberry smoothie bowl packed with bananas, almond milk, raspberries, Baobab powder and dates.

The topped the smoothie bowl with bananas, kiwi fruit, coconut, Chia seeds and strawberries.

For lunch, she ate a coconut and Dhal curry with a Jasmine rice base, and finished her day with a light dinner of sweet potatoes and vegetables.

In between meals she had a mid-afternoon snack of a raw coconut and macadamia bar and soy chai latte, and throughout the day went for a beach walk and enjoyed a 90-minute hot yoga class.

On the second day, she started off with a peppermint tea and Chia seed oats with almond milk.

For lunch, she used a vegetable spiralizer to slice up red cabbage, and paired it with sliced avocados, falafels and spinach.

For dinner she made tacos with vegetables and beans in place of meat.

The added onions, mushrooms, zucchini, baby spinach, rice, tinned tomatoes and kidney beans. 

For topping, she added lettuce, tomato, carrot and home-made guacamole.
