So colorful.

One thing Rita Ora is known for—besides, of course, being a world-class pop star, wife to iconic director Taika Waititi, and always serving a look on the red carpet—is her adventurous manicures. The pop starlet is always doing something artistic or avant-garde with her manis; from mismatched tortoise nails to her feet-long dangling chain nails, there is nowhere she won’t take nail art. Her latest look, however, is arguably her most simple—even if it would be considered most people’s statement manicure.

On October 8, Ora appeared in the finale of The Voice Australia, which she's a main coach for. In addition to watching all the performances and showing up in jaw-dropping nails, Ora also saw her team member Tarryn Stokes win the competition—becoming the oldest person to take home the $100,000 prize in the Australian version’s history.

The nail look in question was a two-toned mismatched manicure that was just as original as it was easy to copy.

One hand of hers featured all forest green designs, while the other was all electric blue. Some of the nails on each were French tips, while others were filled solid. On her left hand, all of the designs were dark green. Her pointer, middle, and pinky fingers were all a perfect French tip with the dark green tip and a nude “your nails but better” base. Her ring finger was the statement nail of the bunch, fully coated in the dark green shade.

Ora’s right hand was the exact same, just in electric blue. The same fingers as the other hand were painted with French tips, and the same statement nail was fully painted, just in the piercing blue shade.

Luckily for us, because the manicure only involves two colors, it is super DIY friendly—and we have you covered with the step-by-step.

First, like any manicure, you'll have to remove any lingering polish with nail polish remover. Once clean of color, apply cuticle oil to your cuticles to soften, and push them back. After that, cut and file your nails to your desired length and shape. Then, apply your favorite base coat and get ready for color.

You'll need two polishes—a forest green and an electric blue. For green, we recommend OPI’s Stay Off My Lawn ($12), and for blue, we recommend trying DND’s Berry Blue ($12). Of course, you can also switch out the shades to be any colors you want.

With your polish secured, you can get to work on the French tips. After applying a skin-matching base layer, create the tips. You can try to free-hand it, or, if you need a little extra help, try using tape to create the shape of your tip—painting over it, removing it, and letting the polish dry. Repeat this step on all your fingers but your ring finger on each hand with both colors. After that, apply two to three coats of each color to your ring fingers.

Then, go in with a layer of your favorite top coat. Apply a dollop of nail oil, and you'll be ready to win The Voice.
