Exactly as advertised, I received a brand-new never-opened phone in original box. Followed the instructions, inserted my SIM cards, and it works great. Even though the in-store associates at all the USA retailers have horror stories to tell, I can highly recommend buying phones from Amazon. My experiences have already been great. You get an unlocked phone (which many retailers in the USA won't sell you at ANY price), it works great, you save money. I love buying phones from Amazon.

As per the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, I'm still getting used to a couple of features.

Disappointments: can't find a way to make wi-fi calling work with T-Mobile SIM. Can't figure out how to make incoming text messages pop up and notify me. (They appear in notifications, but on my old phone they popped up.) Can't find a suitable screen protector: all the ones I order from Amazon are total rubbish: they crack shortly after installation.

Pleasant surprises: GREAT battery life. T-Mobile DIGITS App lets you make wi-fi calls when overseas. SIM manager lets you individually choose which SIM(s) are active for Data, Voice and Text. Display and camera are amazing. Compared to my old phone, battery lasts forever!

Yes, I would definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and I would absolutely 100% recommend buying phones from Amazon.

At first, as I ordered during the black-Friday offer, my package was not sent, but once I contacted them, the phone arrived the next day. As I opened the package, the phone feels and looks great, brand new. It came with a dongle for US electricity as the phone was intended to be sold in Asia (I believe). It works great in Mexico (Telcel). I am really happy with my phone so far. My first with an S Pen, so it will take a while to get the flavor and use it properly. I had owned an S8 for a couple of years, but not ready to buy a Note9, as it is really expensive.
