So I don’t use my printer very often. I bought this ink, and after maybe five print jobs the black ink has stopped working. I have a perpetual error message that keeps telling me to check black ink cartridge, which I’ve done numerous times, and it is still is not working. Guess I’ll have to break down and buy the real ink, which I guess I should’ve done from the start.

Updating review..the seller responded lightning fast to my issue and is sending me an HP black ink cartridge.

Just as good as HP ink. The first installation failed until I pulled the cartridge out and re-seated it. Works like a charm. Had to adjust the amount of ink that it puts on the paper by going into the Preferences and changing the quality to "Fast Draft." The cartridge is filled to the brim with as much ink as HP's XL. My 17 year old HP Photosmart 7150 Series printer recognized the cartridge and automatically ran a diagnostic and aligned the print heads. Amazing.
Update:
Well...this is embarrassing. After all that praising I did , it failed to print for no discernable reason. looks like it's leaking ink. Maybe that's why there is so much ink on the page. I tried everything to get it to work but no joy. I had to buy an OEM to restore printing functionality. I learned something: don't post a favorable review until I've had a chance to put the item through it's paces. Sorry to anyone who purchased this item based on my recommendation. One star!!!

I was skeptical buying these for my HP deskjet 5550, but with it getting harder to find original ink cartridges, I had to take the chance. So far, it was worth the risk! I say this only because I only switched out the black ink cartridge so far, so I can't comment on how the color cartridge worked yet. The black ink cartridge worked great right away. If you still use the same printer I have, just get these cartridges and save!
*I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars until I replace the color cartridge and if that works great, then I'll give it a 5 out of 5 stars.*

I bought this hoping that it will work. At the beginning is was fine both the color and the black, then the color ink gave me lots of trouble. I contacted the company about that and they were very nice they sent a another cartridge free of charge. When I first put it in my printer, it was ok, then few days later gave me the same trouble the first one gave me and later the black cartridge started acting up. I desperately needed to print important documents for several occasions. They always act up in middle of the night where I cannot go out and buy another authentic ones. I tried many times to fix it but it is not working. So I really have to return it for a refund. I was really hoping that it will work.

The company though has a very speedy customer service which is a plus but unfortunately the product is not what my printer can accept.

I truly wanted to give a nice review on this product, but for the trouble it gave me I cannot. I have to go out and buy the authentic ink for a no hassle printing.
