Easy to install and works well
This camera was easy to install and came with everything that you might want except for an SD card. The SD card is optional so that is no big deal. If you don't want one you don't have to put one in but if you do it is easy enough by simply removing four screws to access the SD slot. It can be installed with Power over Ethernet (PoE) so wiring is extra easy. Setup is also easy and once it is on your network you just type in its IP address (192.168.1.108) into your browser to get to the setup. If you need to modify the IP address , that is an option. The camera is waterproof but mine is installed under a patio where it will not get wet so I have not had to test that. If you do plan to put it outside, it does include a kit to help water proof the ethernet cable. There is also a star wrench included to adjust the angle. The included instructions are well written and easy to understand if you have a basic knowledge of networking. This provides a nice clear picture, and overall I am very happy with it.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. I have a number of different brand cameras, and I use Blue Iris for home security. So one of my main concerns when getting a new camera is making sure it works with Blue Iris. I can confirm this camera works very well with Blue Iris. The web interface for the camera is similar to that of a Dahua camera, but a watered down version of it.
This is a larger footprint camera than what I was expecting, but it does the job very well. Images are clear, and the auto-focus when zooming definitely helps keep them crisp. When testing, I could few (and read) most of the warning label on my ladder about 50' across my shop, while in night mode. Only thing that would make it better is a slightly smaller physical footprint (unless you want a camera very obvious). A pan/tilt option would be icing on the cake even if you could simply optically zoom within the same field of view, but thats just my 2 cents. Would pick up another one of these if I wanted the option for a close/wide view camera that can zoom in 5x to give more detail to a specific area.
Overall a good camera for the price and I would recommend it.

This little 5MP Full Color Night Vision PoE IP Bullet Camera is small and compact and the image is of decent quality. The "full-color night vision" aspect of the camera, from what I can tell, requires the camera to flood the area with white light to illuminate the area, IR seems to be the only viable night vision in my opinion. The photo I added to this review is with "Smart Dual Light" and as you can see it is really just IR. (This is my first Full Color Night Vision Camera).
this was probably the easiest IP camera I've set up (of the 5 or 6 I've set up over the last few months). But that may be because this is a very similar camera operating system as an earlier camera I set up. The password is a bit restrictive as it will not allow you to use special characters. I may need to look up to see if there is a firmware update (I have not done that). The good news is that this camera happens to work with existing NVR client software on my Windows PC, so I can view the live coverage on my PC. (where I took the screenshots). It allows me to save days' worth of video on my hard drive and review footage in the past (playback) which is how I got the 2 AM photo in the review.
Overall, this is one of the better PoE cameras I have installed. Still not a high-end professional-grade PoE camera, but good for this price point.
