Anyone who owns a Sony Alpha a330 would benefit greatly from this book. It is clearly written and lavishly illustrated. I've had my own copy for years - I bought this one for a friend who just bought this camera. Both of us love the book.

A new Sony A230 meant a new learning experience. Having used Canon and Nikon SLR cameras in the "film" days does not really get you ready the quality work on a DSLR. This book does!

An easy writing style, and the good linking of e-book style, with clear illustrations, made this a good read and a fine reference book to have handy. His work would be helpful not only for the Sony, but for any other quality camera to which he turns his attention. This is a great bargain.

I found David Busch`s guide to the Sony Alpha DSLR A380/A330/A230 Digital camera to be very informative and well layed out so cross referencing is kept to the minimum.. each topic as a easy to see photo, before buying this book i was a little put off buying it because one or two of the reviews i had read from other people who had bought it had said it was just like a cover version of the instruction manual that came with the camera. The people who wrote that did the rest of us no service at all. Like David said in the book he followed the layout of the manual as he expected that a great number of people like myself had used the camera to take hundreds of photos before even buying this book. What David as done is to take you way beyond just what the manual tells you . Don't just think about getting this book do yourself a favour GET IT you wont be sorry
