When you reach a certain level of celebrity, a fashion line seems almost inevitable. The latest star to add "designer" to her resume is actress Eva Longoria, who just dropped her own line of modern feminine staples.

Unlike a lot of celebs-turned-designers, Longoria, who learned how to sew at the age of 7, has actually spent more time in the sartorial world than in the celebrity spotlight. Known for her killer red carpet looks, the star says that launching her own fashion brand is a childhood dream come true.

The spring 2017 collection, available at evalongoria.com and HSN.com, is largely based on the actress’s personal style, ranging from a crop of leave-little-to-the-imagination body-con dresses to a strong array of menswear-inspired staples.

The true standout look from the line is Longoria’s all-white, wide-leg power suit—especially timely considering the persistence of Pantsuit Nation and the critical mass of suffragette white seen on the streets and the red carpet during awards season. Basically, Longoria’s suit is the stuff of badass suffragette dreams.

Other standouts in Longoria’s collection include a cropped faux leather jacket, a quilted denim bomber, and a flounce-hem pencil skirt perfect for the office and a night on the town. The lineup also features an array of office-appropriate blouses fit to shake up a standard button-down look. The collection skews more towards trendy than timeless, with a price range to match—you can score everything in the collection for $159 or less. As for the size, it currently offers XS–XXL and 0–18.

For eager shoppers, the Eva Longoria fall 2017 collection is already in the works. Check out some of the looks from her line below.
