Nokia 6630 – Accelerate your image

July 23, 2005
This phone belongs to my younger brother Ah B, is a Nokia 6630. and I called it a multi purpose phone, is a combination of Digital Camera, MP3 Player, Phone, PDA, Clock, and etc.

A front view of the phone, it also supports JAVA™ applications. So playing a JAVA™ game on the phone is not a problem.

There is one thing that I don’t like about the keypad is that the Enter key is not very user friendly. Is at the middle of the circle scroll key, need to practice for a few time to get use to the enter key, else will end up pressing on another direction.

On the left of the charger connector and on the right is the Pop-port™ connector for the USB data cable, headset, and loopset. Oh beside the Pop-port is the Microphone, but I didn’t mange to capture all of it.

This little button is called the Voice Key, press this key during a call to change between handset and loudspeaker mode. And even can press and hold this key in to activate voice commands.

The Light Sensor when you cover this sensor, they keypad light will turn on automatically.

This 1.3 megapixel camera can produces JPEG images, and vedio clips are recorded in the 3GPP file format with the .3gp file extension. This camera can capture image resolution up to 1280×960 pixels.

It can support RSMMC (reduced-size MultiMedia Card), and MMC (MutiMedia Card). To insert a memory card, just open the memory card door slot, place finger under the slot and insert/pull out the memory card.

This message will display when open the card slot, and the advantage of this is that you do not need to switch off the phone to get the memory card out very convinces.

This is how the phone looks like when all the light is turn on.

This is the back of the phone, the SIM card and the battery are insert through here. The SIM card need to be insert into a holder, follow by the battery.
