Pomegranate Hibiscus honey parfait ~with the best sourdough granola

Loooooove parfaits as much as I do? Oh good, your in the right spot. Layers of luscious Greek yogurt flavored with hibiscus honey and homemade sourdough granola and freshly cut pomegranate pieces. Yes please! Breakfast is served!

Hey, did you know that Greek yogurt is packed with protein, probiotics, vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B-12s, iodine, and potassium? Greek yogurt can help build muscle, boost metabolism, and improve over-all health. My favorite Greek yogurt is Costco’s Kirkland signatures Greek yogurt. It’s amazing texture and the tartness is spot on. But if your trying to find THE BEST yogurt you will ever place in your mouth… try to find some Pure Eire yogurt!!! If you live in Washington, next door to us in Idaho, then you may have seen this at your local grocery store. If you don’t live in Washington, then you may have to order it online.

It’s winter time! Witch only means one thing; pomegranates-are-in-season. So, you bought a few of this big red things and have know idea what to make with them, how to cut them, or maybe how to eat them? This parfait is the answer to breakfast, this salad answers lunch, and this one answers the how to cut. Pomegranates for everyone!!

Wait, hibiscus honey? Yeah, hibiscus honey, to you this my sound a little weird, confusing, or just so darn delicious, (I would go with the last one) you just have to try it. Really. It’s like meant to pair with pomegranate!! Just take your hibiscus loose leaf tea and grind it in a spice grinder or coffee grinder, mix with some raw honey and BOOM! You got hibiscus honey.

So, what’s in it?

And how to make it?

  1. Mix the hibiscus with honey and set aside.
  2. Layer the parfaits like this: yogurt, honey, pomegranate, granola, yogurt, honey, granola, and pomegranate to top it off.
  3. Enjoy!!!
