Dracula barrowii. Luer 2002

Little is known about this Dracula species. It is said to originate from Peru but it has never been found there. The description of this species comes from a plant in England. That plant is supposed to come from Peru. Hope to get more info one day.

I grow it cool. Min temp +11°C to max Temp +19°C. Lots of humidity. The flowers need high humidity to open up. In my vivaria I grow it in semishade.

Awesome!! You are so right about the humidity…. I think I watched at least 10-15 buds dry up before mine finally bloomed successfully. 🙂 Nice growing!

Very, very nice Drac. I don’t think that I have seen this one before. It has wonderful contrasting color. I would love to see more Drac’s and a site or vendor of where they may be available, if one is known.
    Thanks for the post.
