This type of primary hybrid exhibits the best qualities from both parents: the Mormodes is dominant for color, and the Cycnoches is dominant for shape. Cyc. warscewiczii 'World Class' comes from three generations of line breeding with this species, one of our favorites. Its wide petals and large flower size caught our attention, and it was moved into our breeding program. Morm. Aftermath (Mark Mills x Midnight Hooker) was a breakthrough in flower color: an intense neon orange, spotted with dark burgundy. It is a wonderfully unique color. These plants will produce flowers similar to Cycd. Spotted Hornet but with bright orange-gold flowers and bold burgundy spotting. The blooms will have excellent shape and size; very high award potential from this cross. Very Limited
