OnePlus unveiled their second flagship today, in the world's first virtual reality event. Though much about the phone was already know, such as its 5.5 inch display with 1080p screen, the company has announced that the phone will be made available in US, India, Canada, UK and China on August 11.

The India pricing of the phone has also been announced. Consumers will pay Rs. 24,999 for the 64GB version, while the 16GB version, to be made available later, will cost Rs. 22,999.

The prices of the much hyped OnePlus 2, which Carl Pei, the company's co-founder described as the "2016 flagship killer" have been disclosed for other countries as well. In the US, it will cost $329 and $389 for the 16GB and 64GB variants respectively.

The OnePlus 2 features a premium design with a metal frame and a removable back cover that can be swapped with what OnePlus calls are StyleSwap covers. The phone also comes with USB type C connectivity.

OnePlus 2 comes with a full HD display rather than QHD. It flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels). Beneath the phone hums the Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. OnePlus says it has worked closely with Qualcomm’s engineers to optimize the chip for performance and also overcome its heating issues.
