Hidden away at the back of much larger plants in my nursery I noticed this little gem flowering away unnoticed.
It now has prime place in the courtyard in front of Sobralia xantholeucax mirabilis (what a name!) which has started its usual reliable flowering despite all the neglect and upheaval it has endured this last year.
The Brassia was given to me by keen orchid lovers but I had no idea what it was going to produce so am delighted with its beautiful display.
