Finding light for Air Plant in your home
Air Plant love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Air Plant does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Air Plant in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Air Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Air Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Willow is looking a little worse for wear because sometimes, when we open the window in the kitchen & then close it, her tendrils get caught!😮 Maybe I should move her. #airplant #greggang EDIT: Is that a pup on the lower right side of the base of willow?!? The green sprig?! Bit of a closer pic in comments. Possible #newgrowth !

Browning air plant Hello, Does anybody know why the bottom of my air plant looks brown? I feel like it has progressed and feels crunchy. Any suggestions on how to make it better? Or is it dead and cannot save it?

Just got the plant yesterday as a gift and it’s gorgeous. I don’t want to over water it. My app says I should water it every 6 days but from what I read it should be every 2 weeks. I have a grow light on it 9 hours a day. What should I do? #PinkQuillPlant

Say Hello to My Little Friend - the TDS Meter! Part I Hi Plant Friends and CP fans, Say hello to my little friend -TDS I found another very useful plant friend some time ago - it's a TDS meter (total dissolved solids) and it is mainly used to detect minerals in water. But you can get also sorts of devices with TDS measuring function. The one I am going to focus on is a Bluetooth device that also measures pH (very handy) and other other useful information (eg temp) and can record the measurements in real time to an app to save. Below is the Amazon (US) listing to the Bluetooth TDS meter like the one I use 7:1 TDS meter I use. RCYAGO PH Meter, Digital 7 in 1 PH/TDS/EC/ORP/S.G/Salinity/Temp Meter with ATC, 0.01 Resolution High Accuracy PH Tester for Drinking Water, Hydroponics, Fish Tank, Aquarium, Swimming Pool https:// In Part 2, click here: https:// I will explain my tipsy Tuesday tip for using a TDS meter with a new plant, especially if it's a just bought carnivorous plant (CP) which can help your CP to thrive from the very beginning! If anyone has a hot tip for using a TDS meter, add it below and I can award a best answer! @snowtrooper #tipsytuesday #cpclubthursday #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #plantmafia #greggang #greggerssupportinggreggers #happyplants #newgrowth

Is my Medusa dead? A friend of mine gave me this Medusa because she didn't like it (what a shame, she's so cute) and I'm not sure if she's dead or not. I keep her close to indirect sunlight and I water her once every 2-3 weeks, but her leaves seem to have shrunk compared to when I first got her. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you 🌵 #MedusaHeadAirPlant #HelpaMedusaParent
