Why is my Christmas cactus purple?

Please help! She was green and happy until about a month ago when Iast watered her. I came back from a two week road trip to a sad droopy gal.

I got this from my mother in law 2 years ago and in the 2 years I’ve had it it hasn’t bloomed. Suggestions on what to do??

Stems are dropping off. I’m following the watering regimen. Any tips?

Something going on with false Christmas Cactus

My #FalseChristmasCactus bloomed again—I am sure it’s two plants sharing the pot (no buds when I got it in November, so I didn’t know until they started forming). This flower is white, with hot pink stamens (is that the right word? School was a very long time ago 😆) and a thin hot pink circle around the center of the flower. Just a quick update: Yesterday, I posted that my false Christmas cactus has bloomed for the first time since I got it in November. That’s exciting enough, but now, the flower has completely opened all the way up, and it’s just beautiful 😍 My mom has two of these plants, one is at least a decade old, and I’ve never seen the flowers open this far.
