RAW Image Support for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark 3

I've had my E-M1 Mark 3 since August, the last update to Catalina 10.15.7 did not include the RAW support and there are several other new cameras introduced in 2020 missing support e.g Nikon Z5, Canon R5 and R6.

Does anyone on here know if macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur, which is now available for download, includes support for these cameras' RAW file format?

I'm holding off updating my OS until I know for sure that the support is there as by updating I will temporarily lose the ability to use Super Duper which currently does not work with BigSur. I'm prepared to do that but only if I can have the RAW image file support, no point in doing it if I lose the Super Duper backup capability without gaining the RAW image support for my Olympus camera.

Thanks, the last statement from Apple was September 16th 2020, I have searched for anything that includes Big Sur but nothing listed yet.

Normally Apple does take a couple of months after a new camera is released but the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk3 was released in February so it seems unusual for Apple not to include it in Big Sur.

As I said I'm holding off updating because Super Duper is not ready yet, I have Time Machine backups as well so if the Olympus is supported I will upgrade and wait for Super Duper to be compatible as I'm building up a lot of RAW photos that I cannot see in Apple Photos.

Hi Leonie, thanks, that confirms the bad news.😩

I remember waiting a few months for my Nikon D850 to be supported but with the release of Big Sur I don’t understand why Apple didn’t take the opportunity to include all the new cameras introduced earlier this year.

So I will hold off until Super Duper (backup application) is updated to be compatible with Big Sur.

I remember asking Nikon the same question when the D850 was announced and the answer was it's down to Apple to modify their OS to allow RAW images to be supported so I don't think that the sale of Olympus's Imaging Division has anything to do with it.

Also, since January 2020 there have been new models from all the manufacturers none of which are in the latest list that Léonie provided a link to:

Fuji: X-T200, X-T4, X-S10

Panasonic Lumix: DC-G100, DC-BGH1

Canon: EOS Rebel T8i, EOS R5, EOS R6, EOS M50, EOS 1-DX MarkIII

Nikon: Z5, Z6II, Z7II

Sony: a7c, a7SIII

Olympus: OM-D E-M10 Mark IV. OM-D E-M1 Mark III

Leica M10 Monochrom

The Nikon D780 is supported and it was announced January 7th, the same date as the EOS 1-DX Mark III but the latter never made it on the list and all the other cameras I listed above were announced between January 17th and October 15th so hopefully Apple will add RAW Support for all of these cameras soon.
