Q: I'm curious as to why Stana Katic has never been written about or has pictures in the tabloids, and even you haven't ever said anything about her in your column. I think she is the most stunningly beautiful woman on TV today. Her role as Kate Beckett on the series “Castle” is perfect for her, and she complements her beauty with great acting. Is she a recluse or is there something else that keeps her off the charts as of the most photogenic women in the public eye?

A: Katic is not, as far as I can tell, a recluse. She has a website, stanakatic.com, which includes reports about her and her activities. You would probably enjoy its gallery of photos of her at various events, including the People's Choice Awards and the Film Independent Spirit Awards. The site also notes that she is founder of the Alternative Travel Project, a nonprofit initiative “encouraging people to go car-free for just one day.” She's also on Twitter, where she has 573,000 followers.

Q: Can you tell me what happened to the show called “Touch”? Seems I was waiting on the next season when the main star ended up doing another series of the show “24.” After “24” ended, I thought I'd see the next season of “Touch” but nothing yet. Is it available online or on DVD?

A: The series starring “24's” Kiefer Sutherland aired on Fox for two seasons of 13 episodes each; it ended in 2013. The places to find those episodes include DVD and Netflix.

Q: Will the TV program on PBS called “The Doctor Blake Mysteries” be back again on TV? He had a practice in his home and also did autopsies on crime victims.

A: The Australian drama is right now working on a fourth season, and you can see more about it on the show's Facebook page, facebook.com/doctorblaketv. I do not know when new episodes will be available here.

?

Q: We've watched every episode of “The Americans.” When will it return?

A: The excellent drama starring Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys will be back for a fourth season in 2016. But if you want to see more beyond that, you should get all your friends to watch too. As much as the show has been praised, the audience has remained relatively small.

Q: Do you know if there will be a new season of “Longmire” on Netflix? We just finished watching Season 4 and didn't see anything beyond that.

A: The streaming service has ordered a fifth season of the series. (Longtime viewers will remember the first three aired on A&E before that cable service dropped it and Netflix ordered the fourth season.) And it may not end there. Reports this summer had executive producer John Coveny hoping the series will run eight to 10 seasons.

Q: Do you know why there is a different actor playing Jesus on “The Fosters”?

A: According to Variety.com, Jake T. Austin, who played Jesus Adams Foster on the ABC Family show, announced his departure in March, shortly after the Season 2 finale had Jesus in a car accident. The accident and the actor's leaving prompted speculation that Jesus had been killed off. Instead, the role was recast with Noah Centineo.
