The Frithia pulchra is similar looking to the Fenestraria rhopalophylla, but its leaves are more tubular and the flowers are pink with a whitish center. The genus Frithia is named after Frank Frith of South Africa.

Blooming Habits:
Purplish flowers with a white center, up to 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm), in summer.

Culture:
As for the Fenestrarias, this plant is quite difficult to keep alive in the summer heat in Phoenix. It does grow okay outside the rest of the year.
