Vandas are monopodial orchids, they grow from a single stem with roots emerging from the bottom. The leaves are alternating, climbing the stem in a ladder like progression. Vandas flowering spike emerges from the central stem and between the leaves. The Vanda hybrids produces large beautiful flowers in various colour combinations which makes them the most adorable plant in an exotic garden.
