Tolumnias are miniature Oncidiums that originate in the Caribbean. These are great plants that are easy to grow for any beginner. These plants can often bloom more than once a year. Larger specimen plants or large collections can provide some blooms most of the year round. They come in many shades of colours and have flowers that can be solid in colour, spotted or barred.

Formerly known as ‘Equitant’ Oncidiums, this easy growing group loves warm bright weather.  Bloom colours range from bright cheerful reds, oranges and yellows to delicate pastel pinks, cream and lavenders. Most carry darker markings or spots in interesting patterns.  Most will flower in the later winter and early spring, though some varieties can bloom freely year round  with the right care.
