Hi,

When I use the Flash File To Target window in code warrior to erase the shadow block as below:

NVSCI censorship memory and NVPWD0,NVPWD1 doesn't erase to al 0xFF's but they return back to their reset state defined in the reference manual as:
NVSCI=0x55AA55AA, NVPWD0=0xFEEDFACE, NVPWD1=0xCAFEBEEF

Is this normal for these memory registers as I know erasing means turning memory values back to 0xFF's? Do I expect the same behavior when running the shadow block erase from my application code?

Thanks,

This is something I would not recommend to do as erasing of shadow flash followed by reset leads in permanent device lock-up.

If shadow flash is erased, it is needed to be immediately loaded by valid censorship configuration.
